One of my favorite art ^^ The big avvy you see is Dr. Cool's. He donated to me when I was relatively new on Gaia. Back then, I was really into helping out people in the Q&F forum. However, I retired from it some time afterwards and now lurk more in the guilds T_T Anyway, I"m the one with the kitsune mask and ears ^^ Dr. Cool commissioned this art, so I don't have a link to the artist's thread ^^; |
|
Yay ballart ^^ The second Gaia anniversary ball's my first event on Gaia. Dr. Cool's my date (can't you tell?) and he commissioned this art afterwards ^^ (so I don't have the link to the artist's thread either ^^;). It was resized to fit this page ^^ |

This art is by Angelvi. I was in my Mad Hatter phase when I found that Angelvi's selling art for really cheap, so I pounced at the chance ^^ Yes, Mad Hatter phase. See the hat and the kooky costume? I always wondered how people got away with kooky outfits on Gaia. Now I know how ^___^ See Kawaiihannah's avatar doll for my full-color Mad Hatter outfit ^^ |

An avvy art sketch by Ryashaa ^^ I've an interesting story with this sketch. It all started when I was hunting in the Minishops forum and found this weird little shop. It sells avvy edits, but the samples are incredibly tiny. They were all cosplay of popular anime characters and were very good. I was kind of suspicious because the shop looked like it was thrown together at the last minute, and excellent editors usually dress up their shops more. The seller didn't even post set prices for her edits. But I couldn't find any shops that had edits similar to what she had. Even more weird, when someone ordered a custom, she posted the finished product in her thread, and it looked like something I'd do (meaning it was a terrible edit by someone who has no idea how to do edits). Then she closed and re-opened with a new thread and a new name. When she did, I found that she has an edit by Ryashaa, which is terrible because Ryashaa's a great avvy editor who obviously spent a lot of time and effort on her edits. So I let Ryashaa know about it, and she immediately reported the girl for art theft. Ryashaa made this sketch for me as a thank-you ^^ |

This is by Vincent Valentine-Jenova. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy to know that I'm part of a large group. In this case, I'm part of Meri and Kimi's guild ^^. |
|
This image was made by Aiko Destiny, in celebration of the Harry Potter and Half-Blood Prince release. I'm the one in the center, wearing red. Of course ^^. I took the sorting hat test and I ended up in Gryffindor. Change one answer and I'll end up in Hufflepuff ^^. |

This was made by SheWolfAnya. She's such a sweetheart. She donated a brown top to me back when I was contemplating a brown outfit. Later, I caught a purple fly, which is a very rare bug and was expensive back then. When I managed to sell it for 35,000g, I donated 1k to SheWolfAnya. In exchange, she made me this picture ^^. |
|
Art I got during my Mad Hatter phase. I put together this outfit, after my avatar got zombified, and was told I looked like a female Mad Hatter ^^. I got this art from the freebies subforum, and I can't remember for the life of me who made it >.< It was one of those freebie things where you pay the artist what you think the art is worth. I remember giving the artist 1k for her effort ^^. |

Jennessa is this nice person on Gaia on also loves Final Fantasy and dabbles in avatar edits. She gave me this, along with a couple other edits, for free out of the blue. Isn't that sweet of her? |
|
I think I was lurking around Gaia during the Christmas 2006 event when Kimumaysto PM'ed me out of the blue to tell me that she randomly picked out one of my avatars to sketch. Then she colored it. That was a pleasant surprise. For some reason, it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. It must be the spirit of Christmas. You know, when everyone's in a giving mood <3. |
|
This is art I got from Kimini, during one of her rare moods when she felt like commissioning out herself for avatar art. I feel quite lucky to get it because she rarely commissions herself anymore. She even retired from being an avatar editor. One of the sweetest-natured people I know. |
|
This is art I commissioned for RL money from Reyn, creator of the Tahnee Orphanage. I'm so impressed by her art that I decided to commission her for an avatar art of moi. It took a while to get this art, but it was worth it. There's something about getting elaborate art of your own avatar that can make you feel all fuzzy inside. No wonder a lot of people on Gaia want to commission artists for avatar art. As big as this art is, this is actually the smaller version. Click on the image to get the full version. |

Dolls |

Avi doll art made by hp_for_me. Before diving into the addicting world of minishops, I lurked around the free art subforum for a while. I guess hp_for_me is the first person that gave me free art from the forum (the first one ever to give me free art is Meriko ^^). This image was converted from bitmap to gif so it can be imported into Dreamweaver. |
|
This was made by one of my friends from Meri & Kimi's guild, but I don't remember which one! >.< I used to not believe it when people say they bought things from a certain shop but can't remember which one, but now I understand how that could happen ^^;. This got caught up in my huge batch of graphics that I accumulated without uploading here. |

OMG,
THEY'RE ALIVE! I spent an entire morning hunting around the minishops forum for people who would make my avvy's stuff blink. My avvy itself doesn't need to blink; she's a mutant XP And as of late, I've been really into cute avvy edits too. Yayness. |
|
The first three were done by dooleysdacrazy. I liked the first one so much that I decided to go ahead and have the next two made, while she's still online and could do them right away XD I didn't mind waiting a little longer for sartrete to finish the fourth one ^^ Anyway, yeah, these edits are so adorable that I could stare at them for a long time XD |

Kawaiihannah
has a store where she makes animated avatar dolls. Her order list/waitlist
is always full, and I thought I'll never get the chance to have an avatar
dancing doll from her. Then one night, I saw that her store is open
o.o It was one of those (few) moments where she opened up her list to
everybody for a limited period of time (instead of having only a few
slots for people to grab). That was exciting ^^ Good thing I had barely
5k (her dolls cost 5k). So that's how I got the first doll ^^ More dancing avatar dolls from kawaiihannah ^^. I got the first one by nabbing a slot. The others I got by bribing kawaiihannah with letters. When the coco kitty donation items were released, she took orders in exchange for the letters that they came in. It cost a pretty penny, but worth it, since she released these new animation things, and that's the only time I could ever get them without stalking her shop 'round the clock xD. I became a grombie during Halloween 2005 and never really took the vial that would turn me back into a human. I don't think I'll be taking the vial for a long time. I used to consider it, but not anymore. Because the longer I stay a grombie, the more I inspire envy in other people on Gaia who wants to be grombies but cannot... basically those who didn't become grombies during the Halloween 2005 event, took the vial, or joined after the event. As time goes on, my grombie-ness gave me special status. And of course, I like feeling special. This naturally means that my avatar is now butt-ugly because it has this awful skin and awful eyes, but it makes me special, nonetheless. When I order avatar edits or art, I use my human form (I love Tektek). But for my latest avatar dancing doll order, I decided to be adventurous and had one of my zombie avatar made. |
|
I've seen oreokooky's sock puppets store for a while, but I never got around to ordering until I saw her limited bumblebee sock. This is also an opportunity for me to immortalize my favorite outfits with my red hair and red eyes, instead of having another hall of fame, like with my old pigtails and golden eyes ^^ I ordered the first two, and then oreokooky released the swimmer limited ^^ So I ordered that one with the bunny and the kitsune puppets :) |

These avvies are so hilarious and so adorable XD Annie 22's shop is always filled with orders ever since she opened, and she had to raise the prices a couple of times to control the demand. Too bad I found her shop when her prices were already raised to 900g. She started with 200g per nekkid running avvy XD Well, I got the first one at 600g, and then I got the rest for 900g each (the ones with the running kitties cost 200g extra ^^). It's well worth it. She's on top of her orders and is nice ^^ Since I like NoFlutter's fuzzy animal hats so much, I asked for her permission to have them turned into nekkid running avvies. She said okay. She's a fan of the nekkid running avvies herself XD (and yes, I know nekkid is the incorrect spelling of "naked." I think it's just the trademark for these avvies :P). |

Does this look familiar? Bridgechan made this, and she based it on the flying gifs that are commonly distributed on the Net. I used those same gifs as decorators for my spoiler warnings. Bridgechan is a really good pixel artist ^^. |
|
| Bacardi! These are arts made on my name. Figured it's time I gave them their own subheading because there's a handful of them ^^. |
|

Isn't this sparkly name cute? It's by LadyDelaidra, a thank-you gift for tipping at Meriko's store with the jars :) |
|
This blinkie was made by Miriam the Bat. Isn't it cute? ^^ |
